Gemini 3 Deep Think Launches

Google has made its newest reasoning mode, called Gemini 3 Deep Think, available starting today inside the Gemini app for Google AI Ultra subscribers. Google says this is their most intelligent AI version so far. This mode is designed specifically to solve complex problems in areas like mathematics, science, and logic. Deep Think has been built to compete directly with AI models such as OpenAI Compass, Claude Opus, and Meta Llama 4 Ultra.

Previously, Google’s Deep Think 2.5 series has delivered gold-level reasoning results in competitions like the IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad) and ICPC World Finals coding challenges. Google says Gemini 3 will go beyond those results and move even closer to a true human-level performance standard.

If you are an Ultra subscriber, to access this feature, select “Deep Think” in the prompt bar. Then, from the model dropdown, choose “Gemini 3 Pro.” After that, you will be able to use Deep Think mode.
